Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Purchase & Prices

Why do some works show “price on request” or a guide price?

Originals and sculptures are placed personally: the displayed price is a guide, and you will receive a binding offer upon inquiry, including shipping costs to your destination. Editions and prints are available for direct purchase.

Can I reserve a work?

Yes. Write to info@lytrag.com and we will hold the work for you, without obligation, for a short, mutually agreed period.

Which payment methods are available?

The shop offers the usual payment methods (card, PayPal and others); for originals, bank transfer following a formal offer is also available. For amounts of €10,000 or more, the statutory identification requirements of the German Anti-Money Laundering Act apply.

Authenticity & Condition

How is authenticity documented?

Every work comes directly from the studio with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist and the platform (title, technique, dimensions, year and, where applicable, edition) and documented provenance.

Are the editions limited?

Yes, numbered and hand-signed; the edition size is noted on the sheet and in the certificate (for example Hochzeit-Triptychon: edition of 100).

Can I view a work before purchasing?

A viewing in Duisburg is possible by appointment; simply write to us. For every original we will gladly send additional detail photographs and a condition report on request.

Shipping

What does shipping cost?

Editions: insured parcel at a flat rate (shown at checkout). Originals and sculptures: individually arranged fine art transport; the costs are stated in our offer before purchase.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. Outside the EU, customs duties and import charges of the destination country may apply (borne by the buyer); we prepare the export documentation.

Are the works framed?

Unless otherwise stated, works on paper are delivered unframed, as this is the safest way for them to travel. We are happy to recommend museum-quality framing.
